High Protein Crackers

Ready-to-MIX Chocolate Protein POWDER

  1. Mix flour, Beretein™ protein powder and baking powder in a large bowl until well combined
  2. Work in cold butter with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand
  3. Add room temperature water, stir with wooden spoon until dough becomes cohesive
  4. Turn the dough out of the bowl onto a clean surface, and knead until it becomes smooth, amount 1 minute.
  5. Divide the dough in half, shape each into a rectangle and wrap them in plastic. Set the pieces aside to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature
  6. Preheat conventional oven to 375 F° (190°C)
  7. Roll out dough to a thickness of approximately 1/16th in. and cut dough into 2 inch squares
  8. OPTIONAL: Lightly brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt
  9. Bake at 375 °F (190°C) for 7 mins or until the crackers are crisp
