High Protein Chocolate Chip Cookies 

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and Beretein™ Brewers' Grain Protein powder in a bowl and whisk together until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil and egg whites until small bubbles form (about 15-30 seconds). Whisk in the vanilla extract and milk. Stir in the brown sugar and break up any lumps. 
  3. Add the flour and Beretein™ mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes. 
  6. Preheat conventional oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. 
  7. Roll cookie dough into evenly sized balls and place on prepared cookie sheets. 
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-14 minutes.
  9. Remove cookies from the oven and allow to sit on the warm baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
